Special Request . . .

Belated October

"Listen! the wind is rising,
and the air is wild with leaves,
We have had our summer evenings,
now for October eves!"
Humbert Wolfe

To those of you out there in blog-land who may have "missed" my postings, I'm back! My dear Mom suffered a heart attack on the 26th of September. Since her return from the hospital it has been a tad hectic around our household, but there are now signs of some normality slowly returning to our daily routine. Hopefully I will now have a little more time for art.

Beware . . .
From ghoulies and ghosties
And long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night,
Good Lord, deliver us!

September arrives
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer."
